Life is full of momentous occasions: from weddings and baptisms, to birthday parties and dinner parties, to funerals. At Trinity United Church we are ready to welcome you for all your special moments
Weddings
At Trinity, we believe that each person is a unique and loved creation of God. We believe that that all people should have the opportunity to be married, so we celebrate the marriages of:
- same-sex couples
- previously divorced people
- couples of different religions
With a beautiful red-carpeting sanctuary, grand piano, and organ, Trinity is the perfect place to get married. Receptions can also be held in one of our halls, which welcome up to 250 people.
Baptisms
We believe that baptism is a symbolic action that recognizes we belong to the Christian community. We offer baptisms to people of all ages.
Baptism is the rite of initiation into the Christian community. Christians of any denomination can be baptized at Trinity. However, during a baptism ceremony our congregation makes a commitment to support the family in the Christian upbringing of the child. Therefore, it is understood that families who get baptized at Trinity will continue to be part of the community after the baptism.
Funerals
The death of a loved one is a sad and painful experience. At Trinity, we believe that God calls each person home in their own time, and that we will meet our loved ones in Heaven once again when our time comes.
Trinity opens its doors to anyone who wishes to commemorate the death of a loved one. Our rich wooden pews and soft carpet provide a comforting and spiritual space to all who enter.
Our lower hall with a complete kitchen can be used as reception space after the service.
Facility Rentals
Lower Hall
Our lower hall is perfect for gatherings of up to 250 people. Our rectangular tables and metal chairs can be arranged in any shape to make serving food easy. The lower hall has a connecting stage which is ideal for a DJ or for a performance. The lower hall is attached to a fully equipped kitchen with 3 stoves, and a bathroom.
Tower Room
Generally reserved for our youth, the Tower Room is a cozy nook nestled on the 3rd floor. It’s perfect for intimate gathering of 50 or fewer able-bodied guests.
Memorial Hall
Our Memorial Hall is a grand open space with high vaulted ceilings reminiscent of a castle. It’s perfect for gatherings of up to 250 people who are looking for a fun, different setting.
The Memorial Hall is on the same floor as the Children’s Play Rooms, which makes it the ideal space to rent for children’s parties. Kids can run around and play in this space then settle down for lunch or a sit-down activity in one of our children’s play rooms.
Children's Play Rooms
Furnished with small child-size tables and chairs, our children’s play rooms may be rented along with the Memorial Hall for a memorable children’s party. They are nestled in a cozy, kid-friendly area with the bathroom and a small kitchen located on the same floor, making supervision easy.
